A Brief Glimpse
A black rhino does not reveal itself so much as gather out of the landscape: a hooked lip moving through thorn, a heavy shoulder behind scrub, the sudden impossible presence of something ancient and alive. It is smaller than the white rhino, more secretive, more volatile, and far harder to read. To see one well is to feel the weight of survival itself — an animal pulled back, generation by generation, from the edge of disappearance.
Fun Fact

Did you know?

Black rhinos are browsers, not grazers — their pointed, prehensile upper lip helps them strip leaves and twigs from shrubs and thornbush.
