Overview

What we love about Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp

Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp offers a deluxe safari base in Central Serengeti, Tanzania, where open plains, changing light and predator country give the stay its distinction. Comfort is present, but the stronger impression is of an authentic, intimate tented camp in a key wildlife transition zone renown for year round reliable game viewing due to it's proximity to water and large resident big cat populations. It's national park location and abundant wildlife do make this a popular spot for other safarigoers so sightings may be shared.

Awards

What awards & Acclaims have they received?

Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp carries a quieter kind of acclaim, shaped by its Central Serengeti setting, considered hospitality and the way the stay keeps landscape, comfort and safari rhythm in careful balance.

Location

Serengeti, Tanzania

Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp sits in the Central Serengeti, Tanzania, within vast plains and kopje country where distance, light and wildlife all feel amplified. The Seronera airstrip is the closest to Ewanjan. The area is an important wildlife transition zone between southern grasslands and northern woodlands and sees two wildebeest migration crossings. One between April and June as herds head up towards the Mara and then November and January as they head to southern Serengeti.

From the UK, travellers usually fly into Kilimanjaro, Arusha or Dar es Salaam, depending on whether the itinerary focuses on the northern or southern circuit.

Light aircraft is common for Serengeti, Ruaha, Nyerere and Mahale combinations, while northern circuit road routing can work well.

Perfect for The Seeker & The Architect

The Architect adds connection, ease and memories made together. Together, the fit is less about ticking off features and more about matching the lodge to the traveller's natural safari tempo.
