Location

Kafue National Park, Zambia

KaingU Safari Lodge sits in the southern part of Kafue National Park, Zambia, within large, lightly travelled wilderness of floodplain, woodland and river systems. Situated on a plateau 1030 metres above sea level, KaingU enjoys a moderate year round climate - although it does get very cold in July at night and is hottest in October.

Guests can best access KaingU by flying to Chunga Airstrip from Lusaka or Livingstone and then transfer by boat to camp.

From the UK, most journeys connect through Lusaka, Livingstone or regional hubs before continuing by light aircraft or road to the safari area.

For Zambia’s strongest combinations, light aircraft is often the most practical way to preserve safari time between remote parks.

Perfect for The Rewilder & The Pioneer

KaingU Safari Lodge speaks first to The Rewilder travellers through space, silence, and the restorative scale of wilderness. The Pioneer adds a more adventurous reading of wild Africa.
